Rosneft Helps Far East Flood Victims

Rosneft has taken part in the All Together charity marathon. The money will be spent on constructing houses for families affected by the flood. In total, the campaign has collected over half a billion rubles.

Rosneft’s daughter companies were providing uninterrupted gasoline and diesel fuel supplies for the population and enterprises of the affected regions during the whole period of the flood. Komsomolsk Refinery was functioning routinely over this period of time.

The company is providing required volumes of gasoline and diesel fuel to municipal institutions, emergency services and the subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense, other organizations eliminating the consequences of the flood as a matter of priority.

Besides, Rosneft has taken a decision to provide discounts for petroleum products sold by its retail chain in the Khabarovsk Territory, Amur Region and the Jewish Autonomous Region starting from September 17, 2013. The campaign Let’s Overcome the Flood Altogether will work for a month, in the daytime (from 06:00 a.m. till 00:59 p.m.), the discount is to make 10% of Rosneft gas stations’ prices as of September 12, at night (from 01:00 till 05:59) the discount is to amount to 15%. This measure is meant to help the population and enterprises restore their property suffering from the large-scale flood.

Rosneft has also provided special machinery, such as dumping trucks, digging machines, etc., for dealing with the flood. Ten high-capacity pumps (250 cubic meters/ hour) have been sent to the Khabarovsk Territory Administration for removing water from the flooded settlements of the region. The employees of Komsomolsk Refinery have also taken active part in the construction of the city dam.
